  In the inspection screen the user can switch between different views to monitor and/or adjust the actual inspection. The general user interface layout can be divided into 5 parts.

- EyeC ProofRunner buttons and shortcuts
  The following buttons and menu items are relevant for the inspection process. When applicable, corresponding shortcuts are listed.
- Using the Toggle button

- Inspection process
  - Learning phase of the inspection process
  - Selecting suspicious areas
  - Handling serial defects
  - Reteaching a new reference
  - Tracking of operator intervention during inspection
    Some of the buttons in the inspection screen are used to track the operator’s intervention during inspection. If 1 of the following buttons is used during inspection, this action will be tracked in the inspection report.
  - Stopping and restarting the machine
  - Pausing and resuming the inspection
- Recording actions for the inspection report
- Ending the inspection and creating a report

Stopping and restarting the machine

The machine control buttons allow you to manually start, stop and restart the machine.

Choose between the following options:
- To stop the machine, click the Stop button .
- To restart the machine in low speed, click the Restart button .
- To restart the machine at high speed, click the following button .
- To make sure automatic machine stops of the web by the EyeC ProofRunner software are disabled, click the Manual button .
