Automatic and manual inspection in EyeC ProofRunner Sheetfed
- The EyeC ProofRunner software in the printing process
  In this chapter, the user is introduced to the fundamental steps of the print inspection with the EyeC ProofRunner system. The EyeC ProofRunner software allows for automatic as well as manual operation. The automatic mode, by which the software responds to signals from the control system of the print machine, is the standard mode of operation. A manual operation of the software is only necessary when there is no signal from the control system of the print machine is available. The following figure shows how the software integrates into the printing process. In the main part of the manual, both the automatic inspection process and the manual process are described step by step.

Inspecting the potential reference sheet

In connection, the inspection of the potential reference sheet is made automatically with the EyeC Proofiler software.

The display changes from the EyeC ProofRunner software into the EyeC Proofiler software.

Choose from:
- If no suspicious areas are found, EyeC Proofiler evaluates the sheet automatically as usable and generates a report.
- If suspicious areas are found, they are displayed and the Operator has the opportunity to evaluate them and decide whether the sheet is suitable as a reference sheet.
