Automatic and manual inspection in EyeC ProofRunner Sheetfed
- The EyeC ProofRunner software in the printing process
  In this chapter, the user is introduced to the fundamental steps of the print inspection with the EyeC ProofRunner system. The EyeC ProofRunner software allows for automatic as well as manual operation. The automatic mode, by which the software responds to signals from the control system of the print machine, is the standard mode of operation. A manual operation of the software is only necessary when there is no signal from the control system of the print machine is available. The following figure shows how the software integrates into the printing process. In the main part of the manual, both the automatic inspection process and the manual process are described step by step.

    In the inspection screen the user can switch between different views to monitor and/or adjust the actual inspection. The general user interface layout can be divided into 5 parts.

- The manually-led inspection process

Report of the inspection results

After finishing the printing process or after a new set-up of the printing machine, the inspection process ends automatically and a report is created automatically. The content of this report is customizable. By default, the report is created without showing the report view (see following figure). If you choose the external reporting option, no report view is shown and the report is created in the background.

The report contains the following data:

Job data and parameters used
Number and evaluation of all suspicious areas (Suspicious area)
Reference sheet
Inspection mask
Detailed information on all suspicious areas

Button	Description
	Returns to the print control screen.
	Goes to the Start screen.
	Saves or prints the displayed report.
	The Next page button enables you to scroll through the following pages of the report.
