Workflow: Applying a barcode on print rolls for using inspection results

In order to use the results of the inspection on the print machine during further processing, all print rolls must be clearly identified. This is usually done by applying a barcode.

Depending on the workflow, 1 barcode is or more barcodes are affixed during the inspection and is or are measured by the EyeC ProofRunner system‘s camera.

The system can then read the barcode or barcodes precision and identify the precise position of the defective area. These defects can then be exchanged or ejected in a further work step.
