Starting the software and entering job data

Always follow the instructions in this chapter carefully! Otherwise, either too few or too many defects are detected.

To start the EyeC ProofRunner software, double-click the EyeC ProofRunner icon on your desktop.
The following screen is displayed:

Figure 1. Job setup screen. The job set-up screen requires you to enter important parameters (Job data) for the inspection. The fields to the left of the screen correspond to job parameters.
If this screen does not appear automatically as shown above, click the Enter job data button.
Enter the job data. For an exact description see Job data.
The buttons on the far right of the screen represent the workflow from top to bottom, in chronological order. The corresponding process steps are described in this chapter one after another. Buttons that are highlighted green are active and show the next step in the workflow. Click a button to switch between the inspection steps.

EyeC ProofRunner allows you to use and maintain a variety of different parameter sets to reflect individual quality standards for different applications. This helps you save time by loading the parameter settings made for a particular job.
