Carrying out the inspection process

Note:

As soon as the first Item has been inspected, you are ready to start grading suspicious areas. It is also possible to start the grading before the inspection is completed.

Start the inspection process by clicking on START examination on the acquisition screen after retrieving customer proof and production sample.
EyeC Proofiler automatically identifies and locates all items included in the production sample and inspects each one separately. During this phase, EyeC Proofiler’s user interface switches to the Examination screen. The production sample being inspected is displayed on the left side of the screen, while the right side shows enlarged views of the Template and the production sample side by side for direct comparison.
A progress bar on the lower side of the screen indicates the status of the process. As soon as the first item is completely inspected, a colored frame is displayed around it.
- Green indicates that no significant deviations have been found.
- Orange indicates that at least 1 suspicious area has been detected.

At the end of the inspection process, the progress bar reaches the right side of the screen and all items have either a green or an orange frame around them.

Each difference between the customer proof and the production sample is now marked with an orange frame as Suspicious area. The suspicious area displayed directly after the completing inspection is the first one found in the production sample.
To examine the difference between a suspicious area and the corresponding area of the proof more closely, click on and hold the Toggle button.
If the deviation in the suspicious area is insignificant and acceptable to the customer, click on the Good button.
The suspicious area is marked green and the next suspicious area is automatically selected.
If the deviation in the suspicious area is unacceptable to the customer, click on the Defective button.
The suspicious area is marked red and the next suspicious area is shown.
Go through all suspicious areas step by step and classify each suspicious area by clicking the Good or the Defective button.
The progress bar on the lower side the screen displays the results of your Classification.
The comment field above the progress bar allows you to enter a comment to any of the suspicious areas.
The comments are added to the report.
