Maintenance safety measures

Maintenance instructions of all single components have to be followed. Please refer to the operating manuals of the hardware components.

CAUTION

Restarting the system without proper knowledge

Risk of injury

During maintenance work the system must be shut down. Restarting the system without proper knowledge of the system can result in injury.

Before you clean any part, disconnect the particular component from its electrical outlet.

Let hot or warm parts of the system cool down before touching them.

Without the manufacturer’s permission do not install any additional components. Without the manufacturer’s permission do not change the system.

Only use auxiliary substances like cleaning agents that are permitted by the manufacturer. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners, which may contain flammable substances.

Do not attempt to repair or service the system or 1 of its components unless you are an adequately trained service technician and have up-to-date product service information for both the system and the particular component.

CAUTION

Rotating devices

Injury can occur.

Always check the status of the EyeC ProofRunner system on the panel before starting to work at the rewinder or changing the status of the rewinder manually! When the rewinder is not running, wait at least 10 seconds before you start to work on/with it manually!
