Commissioning or recommissioning

Please refer to the user manuals of the hardware components for detailed commissioning instructions.

Consider the commissioning always as an operating status with special potential risks.

CAUTION

Rotating devices

Injury can occur.

Always check the status of the EyeC ProofRunner system on the panel before starting to work at the rewinder or changing the status of the rewinder manually! When the rewinder is not running, wait at least 10 seconds before you start to work on/with it manually!

Before electrically connecting the product, check the following points:

Check the conformity with the specification.
Check for damages.
Check the external energy supply and connections for conformity with the manufacturers’ specifications.
Check the function of the safety devices.

Take additional security measures for considering special risks during commissioning, in particular the following:

Unauthorized people are not to use the machine.
Keep persons away who are not instructed.
Inform of potential risks.

Carry out operational checks:

Start with the safety devices.
After checking the safety devices, check single components.
After checking single components, check groups of components.
After checking groups of components, check the whole product.
Finally check the product under operating conditions.

Arrange the remedy of defects immediately.

Modifications works:

Obtain permission of the manufacturer.
Keep the modifications recorded.

System placement:

Keep the product away from cold sources, radiators, and heat sources.
Do not use the product in a humid environment.
