Using the EyeC Proofiler system
The EyeC Proofiler is a complete offline inspection system for content verification and sample testing of printed items and certain forms of artwork. The EyeC Proofiler family of products help ensure and enforce a precisely defined quality standard over the entire production chain from artworkdesign to shipping. It digitally compares printed Items and artwork files with a customer proof. Significant deviations between an inspected sample and the Customer proof are brought to the operator’s attention.

Intended use
The EyeC Proofiler system has been engineered and designed exclusively for the proper use described in the following:
“The EyeC Proofiler is a software based system for offline inspection of printing results. It digitally compares the first samples from printing machines or samples of incoming materials against the signed-off proof. The EyeC Proofiler comes with a very fast, high resolution scanner. After scanning, all printed items are automatically identified and aligned with the one-up reference before an intelligent comparison takes place. Results are instantly available, giving the user the ability and confidence to completely control and monitor the process and to document this objectively with traceability.”
