Safety and warning information

In order to emphasize special helpful and security-relevant information to the user, the following notes and hazard statements are used in this product information.

DANGER

Risk of personal injury, death, or serious injury

This is a warning. It contains safety-related information to avoid misconduct. Personal injury can occur. Death or serious injury are almost certain. An accident is almost certain.

WARNING

Risk of personal injury, death, or serious injury

This symbol indicates a potentially dangerous situation that can lead to serious injury if not avoided (reversible). Personal injury can occur. Death or serious injury can occur. An accident is possible or almost certain.

CAUTION

Risk of personal injury

This is a warning. It contains safety-related information to avoid misconduct. Personal injury can occur. Death or serious injury cannot occur.

NOTICE

Improper use or damage to property / material damage

The signal word NOTICE is used in accordance with ANSI Z535.6 to highlight important, non-safety-related information, for example, regarding the proper use of a product or the prevention of property damage. It is a standardized signal word that is not intended to warn of dangers to life and limb. Software as a Service example: NOTICE: When resetting the client, all stored data will be permanently deleted.

Additional factual information that is necessary or significantly helpful for correct understanding or proper execution. Personal injury cannot occur. Software example: Note: Administrator rights are required. Hardware example: Note: The device is only suitable for indoor use.

Tip:

Helpful tip for more efficient, convenient, or faster use. Personal injury cannot occur. Software example: Tip: Multiple files can be imported using drag and drop. Hardware example: Tip: Label connections for faster maintenance.
